India, is one of the largest Democracies in the world. We have a young population and are growing in all respects. This growth can be attributed to the growth of education across all levels, especially amongst the female gender and rural areas.
Hema Vyas is one such educationist who wanted from the very beginning to be associated with poor students and impart education at a very nominal fee or at times free. A B.Com graduate herself, her passion to share knowledge came from within and with the support of her parents. Hema and her team are into foundation building of kids aged 2.5 yrs to 5.5 yrs. Foundation plays an important role in moulding an individual’s personality. Things that are taught at that age stay with an individual all through life. That is why teachers play such an important role in our lives.
Hema ensures she imparts the best and in the right manner. Activities that help them tap their inner potential and give them confidence always works wonders as they move along. She hopes for her students to leave kindergarten with a sense of love for learning and with an urge to absorb more knowledge, not only from books but from day to day experiences. The need to prod, explore and ask questions – not just for kids but adults is in itself a learning experience. Learning never ever stops!
An amazing vision, Hema hopes to touch the lives of at least 100 students and ensure she gives strength to their wings to take flight. Wings and minds that are strong have no boundaries or limitations. The SHISHU MANGALYA PLAY SCHOOL is unique and a space wherein a lot of information is shared, children and imparted knowledge on how to develop various skills. Teaching is done in a very interesting manner, by way of photographs and explanations by way of videos, visits of places in actual.
Hardika and her sister had the support of parents all throughout. Their blessing is the constant feature in the past and even today. Since both the sisters were successful in their individual careers, her Mother asked them to look into doing something on similar (foundation building) for little ones and the future generation that will someday make a difference in the world.
Literally building it brick by brick, bringing up the school like a child, Hema cherishes its and the school is very close to her heart. So much so, parents are now requesting her to expand and start a pre-primary and primary section. Growing and expanding to embrace many within the fold is indeed a great achievement. Once the virtues of a good teacher, caregiver and foundation makers are in place the children enrolled in these schools are lucky to get only the best.
Every successful person’s aim is never awards or accolades. Good work and spreading of happiness is their goal always, however awards do come in , Hema has been awarded with Certificates from Vidyaniketan School for the many competitions where her student have excelled.
In her supportive family, her husband, Colonel P P Vyas has served in the Indian Army and commanded 213 Rocket Regiment as a Full Colonel and post his retirement, he pursued commercial flying of helicopters. Currently he is a psychotherapist, mind power trainer and guiding ssb students. While her daughter, Captain Hardika P Vyas pursued her career at a very young age, earned commercial pilot licence at the age of 18 years and 11 days. Currently, she is an entrepreneur, building her own business across India and 3 other countries. Younger daughter, Ms. Shivani P Vyas did her schooling from a lot of schools in India, went to Vidyanagar for her B Tech, Worked in Infosys. Then, decided to go to USA for her masters, and currently working in CHARLES SCHWAB AS A SOFTWARE ENGINEER since 1.5 years in RALEGH, USA.
