When god gives you only lemons, do not just complain and grumble on it sourness, make lemonade and enjoy it to your heart’s content.

It’s easier said than done, but Jyoti  did it and leaves us with a lesson of perseverance and strength. Since birth Jyoti was physically challenged and had to start her first step with artificial leg.  

Early days and family

Jyoti, born on May 28, 1991 in Mumbai – a suburb called Sion.  Schooling was completed in the vicinity at Karthika High School, Kurla and graduation from the Mumbai University.  Jyoti’s parents Satyanarayan Vallakati and her mother Mahalaxmi Vallakati were hardworking lower middle class couple where her father was a tailor and mother a homemaker.   Her siblingsKirthi and Siddharth were the other children, and the five of them comprised the Vallakati family.

Dancing her passion

Jyoti was trained in classical dance and from Grade 3.  She was performing stage shows from a very young age.  She loved the classical form of dance and who better that Sudha Chandran to be her inspiration. Natraj certificates and many more prizes kept this child ,Jyoti always motivated.  She would watch shows on TV and dance to Bollywood numbers and match the beats.  In grade 8 she got to perform in Pune , thanks to the initiative of a well-wisher and relative.  A high point for a child aged 12/13 years.  She continued her passion for dance even in college .

With an inclination to indulge in modelling she embraced opportunities that came her way.   Her first pageant was La Femme in Goa.  She won the Ms Technical and Confident crown. Jyoti’s motive is to inspire physically challenged persons to achieve their dreams.  The challenges a specially abled person faces is tenfold more difficult, hence many of them get demotivated and depressed at times because of negative vibes.  Jyoti has been lucky to have had the support of her parents who gave her the strength, infused positivity and instilled faith for her to achieve her goals. Jyoti wants to make a name for herself in the dancing arena and also become a motivational speaker where she is in a position to hold another like her climb the ladder of success.

Jyoti, being very creative enjoys painting and also her first love – dancing.  She looks forward to contributing and enriching her life and those of others through these expressive mediums that not just spread positive vibes but also color that touches the soul.

The aim of the research work was to automate real-time scheduling, process monitoring, rescheduling, and resource allocation.
