Mugdha Veira Godse, the well-known ‘fashion’ movie actor who has been loved for her sensual performance in the role she played.
The start of life and life journey
Mugdha was modern in a small-middle class family in Pune, Maharashtra on 26 July 1986. She completed her graduation in B.Com from Marathwada Mitra Mandal College of Commerce in Pune. Living in a small middle-class family, she underwent all the struggles and moments a girl or boy would go through in life.
But as life transforms you have the choice to move forward for possibilities.
As the life happened
Mugdha was very dedicated to her life and always wanted to support her family and her life. She sold oil after her graduation where she made Rs 100/day. But being patient and consistent in life brings you success, happened with her.
She soon started working in a Gym and took charge of her life. She took part in Gladrags Mega Model Hunt in 2002 and won it.
That was her breakthrough and she never looked back.
She participated in India’s biggest modeling contest ‘Femina Miss India’ in 2004. She was one of the semi-finalists and won the title of “Miss Perfect Ten”.
Then soon she moved to Mumbai and evolved as a great model and worked for various ads, serials, movies and got praised for her work.
Journey as a Model
Godse, worked in various ad films, print ads, etc as she started working as a Model. She bought an Airtel ad to her credit in which she shared space with Sharukh Khan. She also worked for Close up ads with various other actors of the town.
She spent almost 5 years as a Model in the B-town doing commercials, music videos, walking for designers on national and international ramps. Her journey was growing constantly.
She also worked in a commercial for Hollandia Yoghurt.
Journey from a Model to an Actor
Mugdha entered Bollywood with her debut film ‘Fashion’ (2008) starring Priyanka Chopra, Kangna Ranaut, Arbaaz khan, and other actors along with her. She collected lots of praise for her performance in the movie.
She also worked in films Jail and All the best in 2009. Soon she was being recognized for her work and was working in various projects.
She worked opposite Bobby Deol in Help (2010). She got her movie Gali Gali Chor hai and Will you marry me? released in Feb and March 2012 respectively
She also starred in various other movies like Heroine (2012), Saheb Biwi or Gangster Returns (2013), Satyagraha – Democracy Under Fire (2013), Kaagaz Ke Fools and Bezuban Ishq (2015) and Sharma Ji ki Lag Gayi (2019).
She also worked in Tamil film Thani Oruvan (2015) and judged Marathi reality show Marathi Paul Padte Pudhe.
She participated in Khatron Ke Khiladi in 2014 and Power Couple in 2015 along with her boyfriend Rahul Dev.
When hard-work is recognized
Mugdha Godse had a transforming journey as a Model and credited lots of recognitions and awards in her account. To list some, she won Apsara Award Best Female Debut for her movie Fashion, 2009. She won Best debutant award by MaTa Sanmaan Awards for the same role.
She won Stardust Awards as Superstar of Tomorrow- Female for her movie Jail.
Recently, she has been honored with the Global Cinema Award of 8th Global Film Festival Noida by Sandeep Marwah, Asian Academy of Films and Television.
The journey towards success still continues
Mugdha Godse has already been recognized and awarded for her work and she is still striving to work harder and collect more achievements in her life book. She looks forward to a happy, positive, and successful life against all the odds she might have to face.
