Atul Lakhani, a versatile actor of Indian entertainment Industry belongs to very humble business family background. His grandfather was into the shipping business having own ship too. They used to import spices to the Burma mainly. His father was into the textile business.
Lakhani family was belonging to Chorvad, doing well into the business. His father had good terms with Dhirubhai Ambani in his childhood days. In one ship sank Lakhani family lost everything but luckily, the key members of the family survived.
Later on, his father went to Mumbai to find job but returned back with no luck and then settled down to the Ahmedabad. His father was struggling in work. They didn’t have own house and whole family was on footpath. By time his father settled business well. Atul is youngest among his five siblings and close to her mother as he used to help her in household stuff after marriage of her elder sister.
Lakhani family always believes in hard-work and supporting one another. When Atul was admitted into the school first time from his entire family in English medium his family supported him like anything. He is St. Xavier alumni and was active into the NCC also.
Atul performed well in NCC reached to the national level. He has started preparations for the career into the aviation field as a pilot. He represented Gujarat in the All-India Airforce camp, Bengaluru and secured 3rd rank. NCC issues a student’s pilot licence too and he got acknowledged to be felicitated by the Governor of the Gujarat. During that time Mr. Sanjay Gandhi plane crash accident happened and his mother denied him to pursue career into the aviation field with the risk of life.
Atul was blank in finding career option other than pilot profile. He tried to manage his family business of wholesale saree selling but found billing cycle and credit system uncomfortable and he decided to quit. Later on, he tried stock trading brokerage and real estate work too. He was into the stock trading brokerage business for more than 15 years. He left that field due to high risks and was searching for some work.
Lakhani family had great faith in God and served and contributed in to the society. Atul has also contributed the same way and earned good fame, name and goodwill. “Serving to the human being is the serving to the God” entire family and their members believe in this statement and because of that they resolved their own problems smoothly.
He met his friend working into the entertainment industry. His friend and team were looking for one guy with good look and found Atul suitable for that role. Atul was not ready initially but he went for a shoot and gave try. Whole team liked work of Atul and asked him to continue that work. He was happy as he got one source of Income and work.
After successful completion of this project has boost the moral and prepared Atul for pursuing career in acting field. Atul started getting good offers from the field frequently though he never did such acting task. His hard-work and learning attitude with dedication opened up for new offers and established his career.
Today, Atul Lakhani is very famous in the Indian entertainment industry specially into the Gujarati. He played a role in almost 100 projects for Gujarati films and serials like Gujju Bhai the great, Gujju Bhai Most Wanted, Chaal Jivi laie, Wrong side Raju to name a few, 7 Hindi films, English web series, Hindi televisions and 40+ TVC. He shared screen with renowned names of the industry like Atul kulkarni, Divya Dutta, Raza Murad, Nassuridin Shah, Mohan Aghase, Anant Desai, Rajiv Mehta to name a few.
